Ramadan Ration Distribution
Al-Qur’aan Institute’s Ramadan ration distribution program provides vital support to underprivileged Muslim families. Each year, around 1,000 ration bags are distributed, helping them observe Sahur and Iftar with dignity during the blessed month. This initiative embodies the spirit of sharing and sacrifice, spreading blessings across the community.
Qurbani Meat Distribution
Al-Qur’aan Institute distributes Qurbani meat to deserving families and individuals in need, allowing them to share in this sacred offering. Each year, between 1,000 and 1,200 packs of meat are distributed, bringing nourishment and joy to those with limited access to it throughout the year. This initiative reflects the true spirit of sacrifice and compassion in Islam.
Winter Relief Initiative
Al-Qur’aan Institute distributes warm clothes and bedding to families and individuals in need, with a focus on the homeless, orphans, and widows. This initiative seeks to ease the hardships of the underprivileged during winter, ensuring warmth and comfort in the cold season.
COVID-19 Relief Efforts
During the pandemic, Al-Qur’aan Institute supported vulnerable communities by distributing ration bags to families in need, helping to combat food insecurity and hunger. A total of 1,400 complete ration bags were provided, offering essential nutrition and easing the hardships caused by loss of income during the lockdown. This initiative played a vital role in supporting those struggling to access basic necessities in a time of crisis.
Shelter for the Needy
Al-Qur’aan Institute constructed four one-room houses for widows, orphans, and homeless families, granting them a dignified place to live.
This social welfare project provides vulnerable individuals with safety, stability, and hope for a better future.
Cholistan Relief Efforts
Al-Qur’aan Institute responded to the severe water crisis in Cholistan by extending essential support to affected communities. The relief included distributing water tanks, constructing a water well, and providing both dry rations and cooked food packs—bringing much-needed relief to the people of this drought-stricken region.
Flood Relief Efforts 2022
Al-Qur’aan Institute’s flood relief project provided critical support to affected communities in Rujhan City and surrounding areas. The initiative included distributing essential supplies such as clothing, bedding sets, tents, food, and clean water. Medical camps were also established to address urgent health needs.
In addition, the institute continues to run a long-term rehabilitation project, constructing new homes and rebuilding infrastructure. So far, 13 houses have been completed for homeless families, with more currently under construction.
